Meet our founders:

Lauren Fornes

Lauren found her calling in skin care after a successful career in luxury marketing and a personal struggle with adult acne. Before teaming up with Paige to launch The Skinny, she most recently managed business development for a prestige skin care brand and earned her aesthetics license. She lives in Austin with her husband, Don, new daughter, Hudson, and their Bernese mountain dog, Stinson.

Paige Steinman

Paige is a web designer who used Dial soap to wash her face until she met Lauren. In addition to The Skinny, Paige runs a successful interactive agency in San Francisco called veneer. She has developed websites and marketing for brands like Murad, PBTeen and Karen Neuberger. She insists on mani-marketing meetings whenever possible.
